DealStructuringWorkflow

What it is

  • A non-functional workflow template for business deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Provides a placeholder execute() implementation that returns a template response and logs warnings.

Public API

  • @dataclass DealStructuringWorkflowConfiguration(WorkflowConfiguration)

    • Configuration container for the workflow (currently has no custom fields).
  • class DealStructuringWorkflow(Workflow)

    • __init__(config: Optional[DealStructuringWorkflowConfiguration] = None)
      • Initializes the workflow with the provided config or a default configuration.
      • Emits a warning that the workflow is not functional yet.
    • async execute(inputs: Dict[str, Any]) -> Dict[str, Any]
      • Template execution method.
      • Logs a warning and returns:
        • status: "template_only"
        • message: " Workflow not functional yet" (note: contains replacement characters)
        • planned_steps: list of planned step descriptions (strings)
        • inputs_received: list of keys received in inputs
    • get_workflow_description() -> str
      • Returns a multi-line descriptive string about the workflow.

Configuration/Dependencies

  • Depends on:
    • naas_abi_core.logger for warnings
    • naas_abi_core.workflow.workflow.Workflow and WorkflowConfiguration as base classes
  • Configuration:
    • DealStructuringWorkflowConfiguration exists but defines no additional settings beyond WorkflowConfiguration.

Usage

import asyncio
from naas_abi_marketplace.domains.business-development-representative.workflows.DealStructuringWorkflow import (
DealStructuringWorkflow,
DealStructuringWorkflowConfiguration,
)

async def main():
wf = DealStructuringWorkflow(DealStructuringWorkflowConfiguration())
result = await wf.execute(
{
"domain_specific_input": {"example": "value"},
"context": {"notes": "some context"},
"parameters": {"mode": "demo"},
}
)
print(result)

asyncio.run(main())

Caveats

  • This workflow is explicitly marked NOT FUNCTIONAL YET.
  • execute() does not perform real processing; it only returns a template payload.
  • The returned message contains unexpected replacement characters (""), likely due to encoding issues in the source.
