# Organization

An organization is the Nexus tenancy above workspaces. Roles are `owner`, `admin`, and `member`.

A generated project seeds one organization owned by `admin@example.com`: Dev (slug `dev`) under `abi dev up`, ABI (slug `abi`) on the Docker stack. List them with [`abi org list`](/user-guide/reference/cli#abi-org-list). To add one, see [Create an organization](/v2/capabilities/platform/create-an-organization).
