AgentTool

What it is​

  • A thin subclass wrapper around naas_abi.ontologies.modules.NexusPlatformOntology.AgentTool.
  • Intended as an extension point to implement custom tool behavior via the actions() method.

Public API​

  • class AgentTool(_AgentTool)
    • Inherits all behavior from _AgentTool (imported as AgentTool from NexusPlatformOntology).
    • actions(self)
      • Placeholder method meant to be overridden/implemented with tool logic.
      • Current implementation: pass (no behavior).

Configuration/Dependencies​

  • Depends on:
    • naas_abi.ontologies.modules.NexusPlatformOntology.AgentTool (imported as _AgentTool).

Usage​

from naas_abi.ontologies.classes.ontology_naas_ai.nexus.AgentTool import AgentTool

class MyTool(AgentTool):
    def actions(self):
        # implement tool logic here
        return "done"

tool = MyTool()
print(tool.actions())

Caveats​

  • actions() is not implemented in this module; calling it on AgentTool directly will do nothing and return None.
  • All operational behavior, initialization requirements, and other methods come from the parent _AgentTool class.
