# Artifacts

Coming soon. This component is not in the product yet. There is no `abi` command and no REST endpoint for artifacts.

An artifact will be something you author inside a module: a page, a document, a grid, a deck, a map, a calendar or a board. An [app](/user-guide/build/apps/overview) bundles artifacts together with agents and other tools.

## What exists today

- **Workspace sections are not artifacts.** Files, Maps, Documents, Sheets, Slides and Code in the Nexus dock are sections of a workspace: they hold what its members create. They are not artifacts a module ships.
- **Three things named alike.** The Documents section of the dock is an editor. [Documents](/user-guide/build/platform/documents-overview) in Services is the JSON record store. Docs, below, will be an artifact.
- **The Marketplace shows them as tiles.** Docs, Slides, Board and Calendar are marked Coming soon there.
- **Seeds are assets.** The templates that the Slides, Documents and Sheets sections start from are files a module or a deploy ships: see [Assets](/user-guide/build/assets/overview).

## By interface

No interface can build an artifact yet:

- **Web UI:** no Nexus screen authors one. The workspace sections above edit what the workspace's members create.
- **CLI:** there is no `abi` command for artifacts. The command list is the [CLI reference](/user-guide/reference/cli).
- **Python:** there is no artifact class to subclass.
- **REST API:** no endpoint creates an artifact. The process list is the [API](/api).
- **Config:** there is no `config.yaml` key for artifacts.

## Pages

Pages are for a single page you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet.

## Docs

Docs are for a written document you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet. This is not the Documents store.

## Sheets

Sheets are for a grid you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet.

## Slides

Slides are for a deck you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet.

## Maps

Maps are for places and connections you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet.

## Calendars

Calendars are for dates you author inside a module. You cannot build them yet.

## Boards

Boards are for items you arrange inside a module. You cannot build them yet.
